How Ayurveda is transforming todays Medical System and Treatment processes??

 

Health is state of well-being. It is a perimeter of balance of body, mind, and soul. Since, the man was born on this planet, he found food, and medicines from the Mother Nature. Medicines and Medical treatment is in existence since ages. And looking at present scenario, we have reached far ahead in terms of technological expertise as well as medicinal expertise to deal with wide variety of ailments and diseases affecting the mankind.

The field of medical science has evolved from the days of Charak Samhita to Shushruta Samhita, to present artificial empowered medical technology.

However, in comparison to the chemical based medicines, which are mainly basis of allopathic based medicine system, the plant based medicines have gained attention and importance across the world.

Ayurveda a Hindu based medical system, takes its basis from plant based medicines, and thus has gained lot of importance in current times.

The two basic goal of Ayurveda is to maintain healthy balance in healthy person, and to treat the illness in an unhealthy person.

How is it transforming the present system?

Well, as we can see researchers and scientists across the world are focusing on plant based medicines the basis of Ayurveda, there has been shift in focus from chemical based medicinal research towards natural sources medicinal research.

Health sciences is seeing a transforming change in its way of treating ailments, as the Ayurveda based medicinal system, has either no side effects or have little side effects. Moreover, they are more effective and efficient in curing the illness, as they work at the root level of disease treatment.

Ayurveda has transformed the medical system, as now the focus has shifted from allopathic to Ayurveda, as people have now gained confidence in the plant based medicinal system. However, it had existed in rural areas earlier also, but now the urban areas are also seeing the transformation.

There is growing interest, as well as trust level in the Ayurveda, because of which now younger generations are optimistic of pursuing studies in Ayurveda, as compared to the allopathic system of medicine.
